At Caliber Advisors, we create unique solutions where traditional financing solutions are not appropriate or available.
Caliber clients have typically hit an inflection point where bank-oriented finance solutions are off the table. Declining performance, unusual growth or a unique opportunity may be the situational drivers.
Caliber listens to client issues, analyzes the company-specific situational factors and constructs financing alternatives to maximize the client objectives. This might include a collaborative process on defining strategy or tactics and a resulting process to develop feasible solutions for a bridge financing to a specific destination/event or location of a long-term capital partner.
Caliber works with more than 750 private lenders and Private Equity firms that specialize in transaction type, specific industries, and specific financing structures. In fact, Caliber also runs marketing programs for these lenders/investors to identify targeted clients.

Dave Gonzales
Dave has been a commercial banker, investment banker, and entrepreneur for over 40 years. Much of this time was spent with Bank of America and Wells Fargo as an executive driving line commercial/corporate lending units in multi-state positions.
His professional focus has been with middle market companies over a variety of business models. Dave has a unique experience skill set, by having worked in large companies, started/sold middle market companies, and acted as CEO and CRO for various closely held companies that have found themselves in operating and/or capital challenges.
These situations are commonly referred to as “work-outs.” Dave takes an active role representing Caliber clients with other stakeholders to find and execute a consensual solution. Dave has an operating bias and orientation to repair and restart the business versus liquidate or sell at a depressed valuation.
Dave is comfortable taking an active role in coaching cash usage plans, capital raise and deployment, business model review, strategy development and bridging models to tactical execution plans.
Most engagements are concluded with a consensual resolution of issues, driven by business model adjustments or new financing between the Caliber client and their lenders/stakeholders. However, Dave is also experienced in the Chapter 11 process and has navigated the process, exiting with viable restructured operating companies.
Dave complements his operational business knowledge with significant capital markets experience in originating debt, funding various capital asset classes along with deep M&A experience.
Dave lives in Arizona and is an avid road bike enthusiast and chain saw user with grown children and has been married for 35 years. Dave’s wife could be a saint!
Dave graduated from the University of Southern California in 1977 with a BBA in accounting and is a FINRA registered representative holding Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent), Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative), and Series 24 (General Securities Principal) designations.

Ashley Pulido Losch
Ashley focuses on deal sourcing, strategy development, supervises model building, structuring, and industry analysis.
Ashley was a Vice President at Carolina Financial Securities, Inc. for 3.5 years where she became the firm’s senior analyst supporting investment bankers with due diligence, financial analysis, developing financial models, and preparing offering materials for investor solicitation.
Ashley led industry research teams developing transaction specific support and was instrumental in developing the firm’s operations, used to manage transactions and information flow.
At the start of her career, she worked with the CFG Business Enhancement Services team for 1.5 years, developing complex financial models to deliver process and organizational improvements consulting services to middle market clients. Much of Ashley’s drive and work ethic comes from team sports, she was a scholarship athlete and team captain for the Rollins basketball team.
Ashley has her MBA from Crummer Graduate School of Business and a BA from Rollins College.
Ashley lives in Indiana, skis, hikes, camps, and is an active DIY home improver.

Marcus Losada
Marcus has worked in the accounting profession for over 25 years in various capacities and various industries. He has worked as Controller, CFO, and Advisor/Consultant to small, medium, and large-sized organizations. He has a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
He has helped organizations build financial statements that meet the requirements of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). He is also experienced in creating financial reports consistent with the Financial Reporting Framework for Small and Medium-Sized Entities as issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) when GAAP financial statements are not required.
He has helped organizations create, implement, and document effective and efficient accounting policies and procedures and streamline accounting processes. His focus on continuous improvement has helped organizations boost their overall bottom line and operate more efficiently. He has the ability to see the big picture and also recognize the value of delving into the details of what drives an organization’s financial performance.
He also has experience with the specific reporting requirements for organizations in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and helping organizations manage the day-to-day accounting operations as they navigate through the tumultuous process.
